Ehhh, disappointing... the crab dip was good ...

This was my first time ordering from Bubba Gump. I ordered steamed shrimp and a seafood gumbo. The shrimp was great. I was a little disappointed with the gumbo. There wasn't much shrimp or fish in it. It tasted great but it was lacking in seafood. A neighbor of mine who works there did resolve the matter by getting me a seafood gumbo from there a different day, and it was delicious. I'll be back again.

I had the seafood combination platter. Everything was good. Price was reasonable for the location. Nothing substantially remarkable about the food but definitely all good. The service however, was beyond excellent. Our server's name was Journey (must have had parents who liked the band and were not good at picking names themselves). He was very attentive and helpful. Anything that we asked was no problem at all. He was always quick and cheerful. He was around when needed but not too much so as not to be a bother. He is genuinely one of the nicest people that you could ever hope to meet. The restaurant is lucky to have him there. Unfortunately I was only there on vacation and probably will never be back in that area at all again.

I think it was just the season and time of day we came at to where it took a little while to get food but otherwise the staff was sweet and the food was great! Being able to eat outside by the water on a beautiful summer day was one of the best things!

We had a great time. Food was good and came out fast. They have this sign that you flip when you need service, not the best idea for young kids but the sever knows when you need something! The staff was extremely friendly and we had great service. Will be back!

My husband and I walked in around 6:15 pm. No reservation but seated in 5 min. We both ordered the Bourbon Salmon and it was excellent. They swapped out the rice for broccoli with no issue. Great service!

First time in this restaurant, and I absolutely loved it! Such friendly staff and the food was incredible! My s/o and I got fish and chips (which was incredible with the sauce they give) and I got crab stuffed shrimp with jasmine rice. I must say, it was honestly incredibly good and super filling. Would definitely recommend for anyone in the area!

We celebrated my son’s birthday at the Baltimore Harbor location and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! I’m talking from the customer service, to the delicious food. What added to our evening was our server, Devin. He made my son’s bday celebration even more fun! Kudos Devin for adding to our celebration!!

Bubba Gump's classic name interested us from the start. The food was buttery, flavorful, and was served in comfortable portions! The shrimp scampi, stuffed shrimp, and cocktail shrimp were beyond satisfying. The drink was the right strength and absolutely delicious. Would go back.

Oh my G.. this was so awful. Had a wonderful evening with a cousin I have hardly ever seen since we were kids - dinner and then the Moody Blues. So it was too fun of an evening to let this horrible food ruin the night. But about halfway through our spirited conversation I asked (thinking maybe I had just ordered the wrong thing) how everyone liked the food. Four different entrees - all of them were awful. you could do just as well getting Mrs. Paul's and heating it up in the microwave. Liked the movie - the concept was fun, the location is nice and the service was not bad... but wow, was the food disappointing.

Booth size was okay, both platform was sticky. Great location. Service needed some work. You flip a sign to get your waiter/waitress to notice you, but takes a while & they don't check on you. Bathrooms were okay. Price is a little much for the quality, you're def paying for the name. Food was okay- I got the Shrimp sampler for $23. Boyfriend got the seafood sampler for $20, it was alright. Overall, an okay place, very so-so.

The restaurant references to the movie were great. The service was standard. The food was average. I would probably not return for a meal but maybe the gift shop.

The food in this chain restaurant is consistent from one location to the next. However, on a reasonably busy night, I received very attentive and accurate service from the wait staff although I was dining alone. I would return to this restaurant in Baltimore, or another city. Bubba Gump is a fun walk down memory lane with Forest Gump memorabilia. Food was great though customer service was lacking. Not bad and would eat there again. Ask for a seat outside so you can see some random harbor entertainment.

The server Courtney was very rude and gave us terrible service. Never even gave us a smile and had an attitude with us the whole time. Food was good but service was terrible.

It looks like they built it after all. Forrest Gump told that one day he would build a restaurant too in honor of his friend. Wow, was I amazed by the fine fishing-boat decor and the surf and turf platter, I had. Even the waiters are playing the part as if they were on a boat.

Came to bubba Gump because I wanted some good seafood but was quite disappointed. They were short staffed so that tells you how the service was and when we finally received our food it tasted as if the grease that it was cooked in was old. Needless to say it wasn't fresh and it was undercooked. Quite disappointing 😔

Over priced subpar food. Definitely for tourists. Service however was awesome. View as well is great. Children love this place, so good for families and picky eaters.

Good shrimp and Mac and cheese. The Peach hard ice tea is worth it! Really smooth. Great to get seat waterfront for 360 experience. Didn’t mind the Forrest Gump overload especially since the Run/Stop immediately get attention from the wait staff!! Nice touch. Wish all restaurants had such a visual sign! Great for visitors.

The Jambalaya was very good, however the salmon wasn't cooked the whole way through. Should have asked that it be cooked well when ordering.

My momma used to say…. Shrimp 🦐 shrimp 🦐 and more shrimp 🦐. Chocolate 🍫, shrimp 🦐 and a great view of Baltimore Inner Harbor. Study your Forrest Gump trivia, take the test and win a sticker! Many tourist attractions nearby for before or after your meal. 🌊 🏄 🐬 🐟 🇺🇸 🎆 Come early, stay for the shrimp 🦐The gift shop offers movie related items.

I get that this place is located on the Baltimore Inner Harbor but wow. The prices of the food and drinks are not worth it. This time I got some shrimp with mac n cheese. The mac n cheese was practically soup.. While we ate, 3 separate runners were about to give us food and drinks that we didn't order. Not a big deal but I'm sure there was some organizational issues going on there. The atmosphere was pretty nice. The waitress was very polite and attentive. Even tough I couldn't help but stare at her nose ring 😁. If you don't mind the high prices and mediocre food then this is your place to eat and have drinks. Its conveniently located right on the Inner Harbor.

Food: okay, I really enjoyed the gumbo. Service (waitresses): somewhat frustrating. Rarely checks the table & frequently ignores/forgets the requests like plates, spoons, clean plating, complementary water, etc. Not so sure whether I will return again

Great atmosphere for a bunch of friends to eat, laugh, catch up and get a little drunk. The food amazing. Service excellent.

Visited during the weekend and the waiter Amber was great! I had the jambalaya. She made me aware it was spicy but wasn’t expecting that spicy lol. I love it.. I would revisit again. Great spot

My fish was dry, and the fries tasted like they were sitting for a day. The only good food was the lemon that came with my fish, i give that a whole 3 stars

Went here for lunch with the family after visiting ther national aquarium. It's a great view with it being by the water, music, and other shops and sites

Shrimp mac and cheese was great! Great gift shop and the lady working there was sweet and very helpful!

Our waitress was great and the food was ok but everyone else working here was horrible. We didn't get silverwear and asked three walking by waitresses for a fork as my husband was sitting in front of a salad for 10 minutes without being able to eat it. Two said nothing and the third one said that they are busy and probably washing the forks!! The restaurant was half empty!The seating was already strange as I reserved on open table and was told that kitchen was backed up. We had to wait 15 minutes for a table, even though there were plenty of tables. I was told then by someone who looked like a manager that it will be just a few minutes in a snarky tone. My family and me are traveling all over the world and hardly ever account a place like that. The one star does not reflect our waitress at all. She was friendly and helpful

It was a pretty hot day when my father and I visited. We waited in line for a bit to be seated, that part wasn't too bad as it was the middle of the day on a Saturday. When we were seated we were informed that we couldn't get frozen drinks of any variety which sucked as it was hot, but it happens. The table was dirty and the floor underneath the table had various condiments splattered on it and there were what looked like old fries under the table. I ordered a lemonade and my father ordered a beer. He was told they had no beers on tap at all, only specific bottled beers. So he ordered a bottle and a shrimp cocktail. My beverage arrives first and despite the ice in it, the beverage is lukewarm. Ten minutes later my father's beer arrives. The shrimp cocktail takes an additional 20 minutes to arrive and features 4 small shrimp and an amazing amount of sauce for the small amount of shrimp. All in all it was a very disappointing visit.

I did not care a whole lot for this place. Avoid the appetizers. The ceasar salad was average. The fish was alright. The hush puppies were a favorite. The bucket of fries is not worth it - you think you're getting a bucket but, in reality, you're getting a sad bucket with a newspaper on top with a handful of ew fries. I do not see myself or my partner returning. $70 meal for minimal satisfaction. The staff was super nice and the decor made it bearable.

Awesome experience. The food was fantastic. The service could be better but it’s a fast pace restaurant so it’s understandable. The drinks are sort of week but not bad. I’ll definitely go back but not on a Saturday afternoon at 4 when everyone is hungry. Lol

as seafood places would go I would say it's okay it wasn't like it was totally not edible I did find it to be like any chain seafood honestly in my opinion it wasn't a whole lot better than Long John silvers. not sure if there's a Joe's Crab shack aroundbut that one is definitely way better Phillips and other seafood restaurants are also local so you may want to try there or better local seafood 😉

The food was pretty good but the the service was great. I gave it a 5 start for the atmosphere (Forest Gump and all..) and friendly service as they catered to a gluten free diet (my wife has celiac). All-in-all it was a great experience and prompted our family to watch Forest Gump to give our little once some context to the ambiance and how it applied to Bubba Gump Shrimp. Great fun and would do it again!

Tasty seafood. It is pricey due to being attached to a film. But that made for an interesting atmosphere.

The food here is very good!! This was my first time being here and our waiter was so nice and funny. The atmosphere here is just so fun and entertaining!

We've been sitting here waiting for our food for over an hour. The business is NOT busy. One child in our party waited over 30 minutes for her drink. Its a party of 13. Where their policy is gratuities are automatically included in a group of 10 or more. Good for that. The service is deserving. (Insert eye roll) as I finish this review, we've been here close to TWO HOURS!!!

Super-fun. I had a great time. The waitress took time to talk to me and suggested a little off menu extra spicing. It made my day.

We were a big party (8 people), but it was a Tuesday night so it wasn't busy. Food was good (for myself and the other person on my bill), but there were issues with others, but it was the service that was lacking. On three separate occasions the waitress just walked away from us while mid-conversation. She was unable to be flagged down, even using the signs, and we were never checked up on. There was only 3 other tables with people that night, with 2 wait staff and the manager.

It was ok I didn't see the hype, the food was dry. The atmosphere was nice especially when singing Happy birthday to my bro in law. They made him stand and all eyes were on him and it wasn't his birthday.

Food was good, staff were great. Loved the decor. Unfortunately, all the windows on the harbour side made it really chilly in the restaurant. We had to move further away from the windows and still had to keep our coats on! Once the weather warms up in spring, it will be a wonderful venue. We did enjoy it very much. We were just cold!

Baltimore location!The decor is amazing ! Before being seated we stood in line waiting for the hostess to stop playing with her co workers. The food is over priced. We order mozzarella sticks for an app and they were greasy and the cheese wasn’t even melted on the inside. It was more like a breaded string cheese. The food was terrible. I order the seafood feast, the food was not even hot you can definitely tell the shrimp comes frozen and they just drop it in the grease. The fish and hush puppies were tasteless and bland. Needless to say I only ate the fries.

Good food and decent service, so I would say lunch here was a success for all. The kids liked the atmosphere but had no clue who Forrest Gump was...lol.

Very tasty food and a great location on the Inner Harbor. I had the coconut shrimp and it was so good. The best part about this restaurant other than the food, is it location. We enjoyed our meal on the patio that has beautiful views of the Inner Harbor.

Today I’ll give 3 starts. The first time we went there last year we were very well attended, but this time, unfortunately, no. I’m giving 3 starts because the food is really good, very pricey, but you know, Forrest Gump theme restaurant, so that adds up a little more. The decoration is awesome!

Food and service was good, waitress stated they cannot accept my Landrys birthday reward because they are no longer a landrys restaurant, but if your no longer a Landrys restaurant and no longer accept their rewards, you should not be listed on the Landrys website as a Landrys restaurant. More than willing to adjust my review once your are no longer advertising as Landry's Restaurant.

Honestly when you see this place from the outside, you'll think "cheap fake seafood place trying to use the name of something familiar to people who don't know the difference." How wrong they would be. It is actually difficult for a place to so many forms of shrimp in the volume they'd do so well; but as someone who loves shrimp, and loves all shrimp done so many ways, I can assure you that you will be happy. The fried shrimp is crispy and not over breaded. The peal and eat shrimp are well seasoned and properly cooked. The shrimp mac and cheese is plentiful and creamy and tasty. The New Orleans shrimp is served w grilled veggies and rice and spicy and delicious. It is all good and surprisingly enjoyable. Try this place if you want casual good seafood in a family friendly environment.

I am not upset at the food but I'm upset that I drove 1 1/2 hours for half of there menu to not be available. They didn't update the limited food on the menu and I even called ahead of time. This is extremely dissappintin to have to figure out al alternative because I have no clue about this area!
